BASIS Pflugerville is seeking Kindergarten Teachers to join our bright, passionate team!
Responsibilities
- Evaluating students’ academic and social growth
- Keeping appropriate records
- Preparing progress reports
- Communicating with parents via email, conferences, and other means to discuss student progress
- Identifying student needs and cooperating with the Subject Experts or other professional staff members in assessing and helping students solve health, attitude, and learning problems
- Providing differentiated instruction and executing IEP’s and 504 Plans with fidelity
- Substitute/duty coverage as needed
- Supervising students during classroom transitions throughout the day
- Occasionally representing BASIS Ed Texas at designated school wide community events outside of typical school hours
Requirements
- Eligible to work in Texas Public Schools
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education or related subject
- Ability to obtain a valid fingerprint clearance through TEA
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an elementary educator (Preferred)
- A Master’s degree in Education or related subject (Preferred)
