Kindergarten Teacher

BASIS Pflugerville is seeking Kindergarten Teachers to join our bright, passionate team!

Responsibilities

• Evaluating students’ academic and social growth
• Keeping appropriate records
• Preparing progress reports
• Communicating with parents via email, conferences, and other means to discuss student progress
• Identifying student needs and cooperating with the Subject Experts or other professional staff members in assessing and helping students solve health, attitude, and learning problems
• Providing differentiated instruction and executing IEP’s and 504 Plans with fidelity
• Substitute/duty coverage as needed
• Supervising students during classroom transitions throughout the day
• Occasionally representing BASIS Ed Texas at designated school wide community events outside of typical school hours

Requirements

• Eligible to work in Texas Public Schools
• A Bachelor’s degree in Education or related subject
• Ability to obtain a valid fingerprint clearance through TEA

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as an elementary educator (Preferred)
• A Master’s degree in Education or related subject (Preferred)
