Responsibilities

• Teach first grade students using the district’s adopted course of study
• Utilize effective and innovative instructional and student evaluation techniques
• Apply knowledge of instructional technology in teaching
• Promote interdisciplinary studies with other teachers
• Interact positively with pupils, parents, teachers, staff, and the general public

Requirements

• Michigan Teacher Certification
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of effective and innovative instructional and student evaluation techniques
• Knowledge of instructional technology and its applications in teaching
• Willingness to work with other teachers to promote interdisciplinary studies
• Skill in interpersonal relations with pupils, parents, teachers, staff, and the general public
• Outstanding references from current and former supervisors

Qualifications

• Salary Range: Starting pay $50,000.00 (negotiable)
• Pay increases based on experience
• Starting Date: 26-27 School Year
• Retirement: 401K with 4% and another 4% matching by the school
