Lead Teacher Responsibilities & Duties Internalize and deliver lesson plans aligned to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) for the assigned content and grade level. Provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with diverse needsAssess students' progress and adjust teaching methods as necessaryCollaborate with other teachers, staff, and families to ensure student successImplement positive behavior interventions and support (PBIS) and other behavior management strategies Ability to effectively manage a classroom and maintain a positive learning environmentBe able to interpret and explain student data and progress monitoringExperience using technology and multimedia resources in the classroomStay current on best practices and developments in education Qualifications Lead Teacher Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Education or related fieldValid Texas state certification or license as a teacher. ESL supplement preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
