Kim Thrasher Joins LAVATEC

We are seeking a Sales and Marketing Coordinator to support our regional sales team and drive growth in the industrial laundry equipment market. This role reports directly to the company President and plays a key part in managing research, customer inquiries, and price quotes.

About the Role

• Manage research and assist the regional sales team with equipment-related inquiries and price quotes
• Support the success of our e-commerce platform, NewChapterParts, which provides certified, high-quality commercial spare parts and consumables for the industrial laundry market
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through direct interaction and a deep understanding of customer needs

Responsibilities

• Assist the sales team with equipment-related inquiries and provide accurate price quotes
• Conduct market and customer research to support sales strategies
• Manage and contribute to the ongoing success of NewChapterParts, our e-commerce platform for industrial laundry spare parts and consumables
• Engage directly with customers to understand their perspectives and strengthen relationships

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Marketing, or a related field (double minor in Marketing and German preferred)
• MBA from an accredited university
• Five years of sales and marketing experience, including roles at marketing agencies in Connecticut and New York
• Prior internship experience at LAVATEC or similar industry exposure
• Experience managing an e-commerce platform or website for B2B sales

Qualifications

• Strong background in sales, marketing, and customer relationship management
• Proven ability to analyze customer needs and translate insights into actionable strategies
• Experience in the industrial laundry or equipment market is a plus
• Fluency in German is advantageous
