Kids Club Team Member - GOLD'S GYM - Cypress Creek

About the role

Provide care for children while parents work out in the gym. Oversee and supervise all children through independent and group activities, exercises, and entertainment to keep them occupied in a defined area of the gym.

Responsibilities

• Organize and participate in recreational activities, such as games, simple painting, drawing, handicrafts, and songs.
• Read to children and engage in age-appropriate activities.
• Care for children with disabilities, including securing them in equipment like chairs and slings.
• Maintain security records for individual children, ensuring all have a registration form on file.
• Follow proper security procedures for check-in and check-out, verifying parent identification.
• Organize and store toys and materials to maintain order in the Kids Club area.
• Perform housekeeping duties and sanitize toys and play equipment as needed.
• Support children's emotional and social development, fostering positive self-concepts and understanding of others.
• Interact with children in a positive and age-appropriate manner.
• Help plan weekly art projects with the Kids Club team.
• Complete necessary paperwork, such as supply sheets, incident reports, and check-in/out manual sheets.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Attend all required staff meetings.
