Gold's Gym Kids Club Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy Kids Club Manager to join our Gold's Gym Childcare team. This position is ideal for someone with great attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will effectively communicate with children, parents, and staff and have prior childcare experience or similar. Applicants must have a love for taking care of children and providing a safe environment for ages three months to twelve years.

Responsibilities

• Care for children in a defined area of the gym for attending members.
• Interact with children in a positive and age-appropriate manner.
• Organize and participate in recreational and educational activities, such as games, drawing, handicrafts, and reading.
• Maintain discipline and initiate measures to control behavior.
• Keep security records on individual children, ensuring all have a registration form on file.
• Organize and store toys and materials to ensure order in the Kids Club area.
• Support children's emotional and social development, encouraging understanding of others and positive self-concepts.
• Schedule Kids Club associates.
• Lead, coach, and train the Kids Club team to provide a safe, fun, and active environment for children.

Requirements

• High school diploma or 2 years of prior work experience in a daycare/childcare environment.
• Infant and Child First Aid and CPR certification required.
• Excellent communication skills with children and adult parents.
• Ability to make children feel secure.
