Job Summary

We’re currently looking for a Child & Family Therapist who is passionate about supporting kids, teens, and families through life’s challenges with creativity, compassion, and authenticity.

Day in the Life

  • Full-time outpatient therapist
  • Average of 25 client sessions per week
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Competitive compensation
  • Evening and/or weekend availability required to support client and family needs

Clear Expectations

  • Maintain a weekly caseload of 25 client sessions
  • Provide consistent evening and/or weekend availability to accommodate school and family schedules
  • Flexible scheduling once expectations are met
  • Some evening or weekend availability to meet client needs
  • Provide thoughtful, creative, evidence-based therapy to a diverse client population
  • Evaluate mental health diagnoses, create treatment plans, and document quality care
  • Collaborate with a supportive team
  • Use clinical judgment freely
  • Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session
  • Participate in supervision, consultation, and trainings
  • Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a behavioral science or related field from an accredited college or university
  • Active licensure in your designated field, including temporary and/or junior licenses
  • Experience with diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort working with diverse populations
  • Ability to set stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
  • Timely documentation habits
  • Familiarity with EHR systems (Valant a plus; training provided)
