Responsibilities
- Pet First: Uphold Petco's animal care standards, ensuring the health, safety, and proper handling of all animals.
- Foster the Fun: Promote a safe, welcoming environment for pets, pet parents, and partners. Follow all policies and procedures related to animal welfare, safety, and store operations.
- Let's Go!: Support daily store operations including sales, task execution, and recovery. Execute merchandising standards, assist with inventory activities, and process transactions, refunds, and exchanges accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
- Previous retail experience required; key holder or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills and experience handling cash and transactions.
- Reliable, responsible, and detail oriented.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Skills
- Customer service skills.
