The Retail Keyholder serves as the premier “SUGARTAINER,” delivering a sweet customer experience while promoting the brand, providing exceptional customer service, handling sales floor merchandising and maintenance, product knowledge, register duties, and occasionally opening or closing the store.

Responsibilities

• Laugh out loud, dance to the music, and provide a humorous escape to customers while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Assist customers with requests and inquiries.
• Follow the customer engagement model, SUGARTAINMENT.
• Ensure the sales floor is clean and organized while maintaining store visual standards.
• Operate the POS/register to properly cash out all customers.
• Achieve sales goals by following through on customer requests for specific items and suggesting additional products.
• Use selling skills to explain product benefits, features, prices, quality, value, and other information.
• Maintain store cash handling records.
• Responsible for opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Merchandise displays to visual guidelines.
• Assist in set‑up for special events and promotions.
• Understand all Loss Prevention (LP) policies and procedures and communicate LP issues with the Store Manager.
• Perform operational responsibilities including sales floor, backroom, and restroom maintenance, cleaning, mopping, etc.

• Display enthusiasm and cheerfulness while working collaboratively in a team environment.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Years of experience: 6 months in a similar retail role preferred.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to use a POS/cash register.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods of time; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
• Able to independently lift/move up to 25 lbs.
• Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs. with assistance.
• Must be able to work alone or with minimal supervision.
