About the role
As a Key Accounts Manager with billing responsibilities, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth, maintaining strategic relationships, and ensuring accurate and efficient billing processes for key accounts. Your focus will be on account management and leading a team of Key Accounts Specialists to deliver exceptional results.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Key Accounts Specialists, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
- Set performance targets, conduct performance evaluations, and identify training and developmental needs.
- Develop strategic account plans that outline objectives, growth targets, and action plans for each key account, including setting key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, marketing, operations, and finance, to align strategies and ensure seamless delivery of products/services to key accounts.
- Facilitate communication and coordination among teams to meet client expectations.
- Oversee the billing process for key accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to establish billing procedures, resolve billing discrepancies, and address customer billing inquiries.
- Manage the financial aspects of key account management, including revenue forecasting, budgeting, and profitability analysis.
- Work closely with the finance department to track revenue and expenses related to key accounts.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' activities; gather market intelligence to identify potential threats or opportunities within key accounts.
- Analyze key account performance metrics, such as revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and retention rates.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on the status of key accounts, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
- Serve as a key point of contact for senior executives within the company.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all policies and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (required).
- 7+ years of experience managing workflows and generating business (required).
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to process and retain highly technical information.
- Extensive operational knowledge and experience.
- Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
