Key Account Director
The Key Accounts Director is responsible for developing and executing strategic business plans for assigned national and regional key customers to drive profitable revenue growth, market share, and customer satisfaction.
- Deploy customer strategy and grow Flowers Foods' revenue, distribution, market share, and profitability with the assigned key account(s).
- Build and implement the customer strategy to attain volume growth targets, achieve category goals, build market share, expand distribution, manage Trade Promotion Budgets, and increase profitability through more effective assortment, improved space and position, and effective promotional strategy and tactics.
Responsibilities
The Key Accounts Director will build and implement the customer strategy to attain volume growth targets, achieve category goals, build market share, expand distribution, manage Trade Promotion Budgets, and increase profitability through more effective assortment, improved space and position, and effective promotional strategy and tactics.
- Promote a customer-centered culture that strives to exceed customer needs, requirements, and expectations.
- Develop and manage customer relationship with buyers and key decision makers; contribute to customer strategy ensuring local Flowers business objectives are achieved.
- Partner with BUs and Marketing to understand trends and consumer preferences and deploy account strategy to maximize potential.
- Develop a Customer Sales Plan that delivers Flowers sales and margin objectives within the Trade Promotion Management funding structure.
- Partner with Regional VPs from DSD sales and Market VPs to ensure alignment and plan for excellent execution by Flowers distributor partners.
- Achieve/exceed all established key sales measures and targets.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Sexual Harassment, Sarbanes – Oxley, Safety, etc.).
- Perform other duties which are deemed to be an integral part of the position, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- 8-10 years’ experience working in a CPG sales environment
- Proven success in leading a sales organization
- Authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or a related field required
- Master's degree preferred

Salary Range
We offer a competitive salary up to $110k and an excellent total rewards package.
