Key Account Supply Program Manager (Hybrid)
About the role
We are seeking a Key Account Supply Program Manager (Hybrid Capable; based in Elgin, Illinois) to ensure operational performance for select HARTING Key Accounts. This cross-functional position is the connection point between global manufacturing facilities, regional HARTING teams, customers, and subcontractors. The Supply Program Manager influences both internal and external teams to maintain on-time deliveries, increase global business relationships, and provide highest level of support. This role is critical to deliver a customer experience in accordance with HARTING’s values and commitment to a customer-focused approach.
Responsibilities
- Serves as the main global supply operational customer interface with end customers headquarters and HARTING subsidiaries.
- Gain and maintain knowledge on all design activities within the program, supporting the regional sales teams globally to secure additional design wins.
- Guardian of Customer Experience: Lead coordination at highest level of organization to drive establishment of appropriate global operational support and initiatives. Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis. Regularly monitors global customer satisfaction, and proactively communicates internally to global drive improvements and reporting to the customer. Schedules and coordinates Quarterly Business Reviews with the customer.
- Acting as liaison between the customer and all company departments, driving escalation, risk management, solution development and continuous improvement in processes. Communicates business relevant information and provides structured feedback to Management.
- Measure, monitor and oversee all international activities related to pricing, forecasting, operational support and delivery and inventory levels. Ensure compliance to project timelines, cost and quality according to business metrics. Monitor program metrics, analyze results and drive corrective actions as needed.
- Responsible to collect and analyze global program forecast, working with the end customer, the regionals sales and customer service teams and the plants on allocation and provide allocation guidance globally. Utilizes deep understanding of the program and the gathered forecast to support the global sales team and Regional Executive Management to define yearly budget and resource planning.
- Able to identify risk regarding ability to meet forecast growth.
- Global escalation point of contact for technical questions, coordinating with global technical resources at all levels as needed to gain adequate support.
- Responsible to monitor global post sales activities and provide guidance to other HARTING sales offices.
- Captures and analyzes global program forecast, working with the end customer, the regionals sales and customer service teams and the plants on allocation and provide allocation guidance globally. Utilizes deep understanding of the program and the gathered forecast to support the global sales team and Regional Executive Management to define yearly budget and resource planning.
- Provides superior day-to-day customer service from pricing, sample processing and order entry thru expediting, backlog monitoring to complaint resolution, as well other before, during and after sales activities.
- Able to support non-traditional work hours to accommodate customer time zones for calls. Some travel, including international (up to 20%).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business / supply chain (preferred)
- Extensive international business, customer service and supply chain experience within global manufacturing environment
- Extensive customer support experience with large accounts with very high visibility
- Professional, goal-oriented, self-reliant and self-motivated individual with very strong team leading, communication and analytical skills
- Independent ability to easily gain influence at all organizational levels and drive communication, cooperation and resolution
- Ability to analyze global environment and collaborate with various international departments to improve all processes supporting the customer program
- Advanced project management skills
- High level reporting and presentation skills
- Computer proficient with Excel, Word and Outlook (MS Office)
- Prior knowledge of SAP

Pay
Competitive base salary: $80,000 - $105,000 (commensurate with experience, subject to change dependent on physical location)
