Job Requirements
- Dispatching service calls
- Following up with vendors throughout the lifespan of a service call
- Submitting NTE/Quote requests
- Recognizing and addressing potential delays with materials
- Providing a high level of customer service by ensuring customers are always up to date on the latest information available
Responsibilities
- Managing service calls for Coiling Service Doors, Rolling Grilles, Side-Folding Gates, Scissor Gates, Sectional Doors, Strip Doors, Passage Doors and Frames, Dock levelers, Locks, Safes, Glass, and Window Film
- Showing creativity and resourcefulness to get accurate and timely information from vendors/suppliers
- Offering effective solutions when vendor timelines do not meet our requirements
- Entering all relevant information into Navision; doing so accurately and timely
- Knowing customer requirements and expectations
- Having excellent communication skills to provide a high level of customer service
- Building strong win-win relationships with other departments within Cornell, including Vendor Relations, Operations, Account Management, Business Development, and Accounting
- Actively supporting colleagues and teams towards effective change, encouraging continuous improvement
