About the Role
As part of the Global Sales organization, the Key Account Manager will focus on building long-term, strategic partnerships with the organization's most valuable clients and strategic prospects, driving sustainable revenue growth, ensuring high client retention, and aligning company solutions with each client's business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develops and implements value-generating account sales strategies in alignment with the regional sales and marketing director.
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key accounts.
- Frames and delivers key contract negotiations according to agreed targets.
- Provides strong understanding of contracts and legal concepts for complex contracts including market as well as raw material-based pricing structures.
- Serve as the main liaison between OXEA and the customer across departments.
- Ensures close personnel market contact, e.g., through direct relationship building to key accounts and decision makers.
- Explores new strategic business opportunities, also in alignment with Business Development teams.
- Identify opportunities for growth through new product offerings, promotions, and execution enhancements.
- Manages payment targets and overdue handling.
- Manage monthly forecasts with precision and within accuracy guidelines.
- Lead key customer meetings, including preparation and presentation of strategic objectives.
- Address issues and concerns with professionalism and urgency.
Key Interactions
- Internal: Marketing, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Business Development, and others as needed.
- External: customers, vendors, associations.
Working Conditions
- Office environment.
- Intensive computer screen use.
- Traveling (up to 50%).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering; Master’s preferred.
- Deep knowledge and network in the CASE sector.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the industry.
- Proven track record in managing accounts and driving commercial success.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in data analysis and presenting actionable insights.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Fluent in English (speech and writing).
