Key Responsibilities

  • Maximise sales potential and revenue across key accounts
  • Negotiate and close framework agreements and large purchase orders
  • Present and discuss Digital Pathology imaging and workflow solutions with confidence
  • Develop deep insights into customer strategies and business models
  • Manage accounts both strategically and operationally to ensure long-term success
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing accounts and acquire new accounts
  • Create and execute key account plans using Barco’s methodology
  • Ensure accurate reporting and forecasting to support financial and logistics planning
  • Collaborate with internal teams and suggest process improvements to enhance customer experience
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities

Your Profile

  • 5–10+ years of experience in sales, account management, and business development within Healthcare
  • Experience in Pathology or Digital Pathology is a strong plus
  • Strong relationship-building, influencing, and interpersonal skills
  • Existing network within Pathology, large labs, CROs, research, or Pharma is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a national and global context
  • Strong analytical mindset and strategic thinking
  • Fluent in English
  • Based in the US, preferably East Coast or Central, with willingness to travel up to 50%
  • A collaborative team player able to work effectively across departments
