Kentucky Tech Instructor Rank III-Electrical Instructor (156-OCTE)

About the role

The Boone Area Technology Center in Hebron, KY is looking for an Electrical Instructor who is dedicated, knowledgeable, and passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of students.

Responsibilities

• Teaches occupational preparatory classes within a career and technical education program.
• Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

• Must hold the Rank III Kentucky teaching certificate in the subject area to be taught; OR
• Must hold a Kentucky Statement of Eligibility in the subject area to be taught; OR
• Four years of appropriate work experience, two of which must be in the last five years.

• Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: NONE
• Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: NONE

Skills

• Must be able to acquire the personal national certifications applicable to the program area (A+Cert, NCCER, ABC, AGC, ASE).

Pay

Salary: Dependent on rank and experience

Schedule

In accordance with KRS 161.220 the applicant selected for this position will become a member of the Kentucky Teachers’ Retirement System.
