Southern Hills Animal Hospital in vibrant Shreveport, LA, is seeking a Full-Time Kennel Technician to join our caring, collaborative team. Responsibilities

• Provide daily care for boarding and hospitalized animals, including feeding, walking, and monitoring comfort
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kennel areas, cages, and equipment
• Observe pets for changes in behavior, appetite, or condition and report concerns to the team
• Assist with light maintenance and stocking as needed
• Support the hospital team to ensure a calm, safe, and organized environment

Requirements

• Comfortable Working Independently: Able to manage tasks efficiently with minimal supervision

• Organized & Detail-Oriented: You notice changes in animal behavior and maintain clean, orderly spaces
• Flexible: Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Clear Communicator: Able to share observations with the medical team effectively
