Kennel Assistant

About the role

Legacy Animal Hospital is seeking a Kennel Assistant to join our team. The Kennel team is dedicated to the care and comfort of our patients while providing critical support to the veterinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide meals and walks to boarding guests
• Administer medications
• Monitor for any medical or behavioral concerns
• Document observations about your interactions with guests
• Ensure kennels, common spaces, and treatment areas are sanitized and well-stocked with supplies

Requirements

• Previous experience as a veterinary kennel assistant / kennel technician required
• Will consider related experience within animal care such as boarding / doggy daycare attendant, FFA or 4H background

Pay

• Compensation: $16-18 per hour, for each hour worked*

Schedule

• This is a full-time position with three 10-hour shifts per week scheduled Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
