Kennedy Valve- 2nd Shift Foundry Maintenance Mechanic

About the role
Under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Mechanic will perform preventative maintenance on all production equipment. This position requires repair and maintenance to maintain the building/facility and production machinery/equipment in the facility.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support through troubleshooting equipment faults to diagnose problems and complete repairs.
- Complete all required reporting and documentation.
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental/Health and Safety.
- Perform preventative maintenance on all Production Equipment.
- Inspect mechanical and electrical components.
Requirements
- GED or Diploma.
- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Welding, cutting, and fabrication.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Maintenance Manufacturing environment or five years of heavy automotive mechanic experience (oil/gas field, truck/bus/water, etc.) or a combination of related heavy automotive technical training and experience.

Benefits
- Starting wage: $34.98 hourly.
- Hourly pay differential: $0.80 for 2nd shift.
- Longevity pay: $0.10 per hour for every 2 years worked, capped at $1.25.
- 80 hours of prorated Paid Sick Leave (PSL) based on start date; unused PSL can be sold back at the end of the year.
