About the role

As a Manager at Kearney, you will be a key contributor to the growth and development of our Strategic Operations (SOP) practice, offering honest advice and practical guidance to clients. You will work alongside a dedicated and diverse team to define and implement strategies that deliver both short-term results and long-term competitiveness in a dynamic market environment. This role provides unique hands-on experiences, broadening your knowledge across various topics while fostering relationships with clients and colleagues. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to develop and execute strategies in functional day-to-day planning, including:
    • Demand Forecasting
    • Distribution requirements planning
    • Rough cut capacity planning
    • Inventory Management
    • SIOP/S&OP Design, Implementation, and Execution
    • End-to-end (E2E) Planning Transformation
  • Implement or manage planning technology (e.g., SAP IBP, Kinaxis, O9, E2Open, Oracle EPM).
  • Lead proposal writing efforts and participate in pitches for consulting work.
  • Develop new business within existing accounts through client relationships.
  • Manage at least one major workstream of the business design.
  • Lead teams and mentor colleagues.

Requirements

  • Insightful, inquisitive, and collaborative with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Functional experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Supply chain/Logistics planning
    • Demand planning
    • Supply planning
    • Materials planning
    • Inventory planning
    • Capacity planning
    • Master Production Scheduling
    • Sales Planning and Customer Logistics
    • Business/Long-term network capacity planning
  • Located near or willing to relocate to Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, New York, Toronto, or Washington, DC.
  • MBA degree preferred with 8+ years of professional experience.
  • Experience working as a Management Consultant required.

Pay

Manager compensation ranges from $212,000 to $235,000. Individual salaries are determined by factors such as education, experience, office location, knowledge, and skills. Kearney reviews compensation regularly to ensure market competitiveness. In addition to salary, individuals may be eligible for a discretionary performance bonus.
