About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Business teacher to lead our Foundations of Business course, which serves as the essential cornerstone for our Creative Arts and Leadership Academy.

Responsibilities

• Exposing students to core foundational components for all pathways in the creative arts and leadership academy
• Exposing students to the standards of business, principles
• Fostering the leadership and entrepreneurial mindset necessary for success within our specialized academy pathways

Requirements

• Hawaii State Department of Education commitment to hiring highly qualified teachers
• Minimum qualification: Bachelor's Degree
• Maximum of 3 years to obtain a valid Hawaii teaching license
• Enroll in a Program to continue employment with the Department
• Satisfactorily demonstrate active pursuit towards meeting Hawaii licensing requirements
• Must have a valid Hawaii teaching license or Emergency Hire Permit upon hire

Pay

Compensation: 10-month teachers shall be compensated for the applicable Bargaining Unit 05 10-month salary schedule for working a 10-month work year.
