Project Overview

Jeff and Katie O’Brien sought to modernize their colonial-grid style home while preserving its classic character. They wanted a distinctive exterior appearance to highlight their stone facade and bring more natural light into their living room.

Solutions Provided

• Updated front windows with a contemporary two-over-two single vertical grid pattern, replacing the traditional colonial grids.
• Installed dove gray aluminum coil trim around the front windows to create a two-tone contrast, enhancing the stone facade.
• Removed a large drywall section between two smaller windows in the living room and replaced it with a large picture window, significantly increasing natural light and creating a brighter, more open space.
