About the role

Design, plan, and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles. Establish and maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom culture with clear expectations for behavior and academic growth. Assess and monitor student learning through formative and summative assessments, using data to inform and differentiate instruction. Maintain open, regular communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress, achievements, and goals. Integrate educational technology into daily lessons to enhance learning and digital literacy. Collaborate with grade-level teams, special education staff, and school leadership to support school-wide initiatives and student intervention plans.

Requirements

• Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's Degree.
• Must enroll in a Hawaii-based Teacher's Education Program and complete it within 3 years of employment.
• Must have a valid Hawaii teaching license or Emergency Hire Permit upon hire.

Pay

Compensation: 10-month teachers shall be compensated for the applicable Bargaining Unit 05 10-month salary schedule for working a 10-month work year.

Schedule

Payday is on the 5th and 20th (or previous business day) of every month.
