Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (minimum qualification to apply for teacher, librarian, or counselor position, except designated CTE positions)
- If hired without completing a Teacher's Education Program, must obtain a valid Hawaii teaching license within 3 years and enroll in a program to continue employment
- Must demonstrate active pursuit towards meeting Hawaii licensing requirements (as set by HTSB) each year
- Program enrolled must be aligned with the teaching line hired in
- Must have valid Hawaii teaching license or Emergency Hire Permit upon hire
