Responsibilities
- Moving equipment
- Digging
- Retrieving equipment
- Standing by for fire safety
- Performing other tasks as instructed by a supervisor or journeyman
- Using fire extinguisher
- Climbing on to structures and scaffolding
- Using rigging and hoisting devices
- Conducting preventative maintenance
- Following direction from supervisor
Qualifications
- Able to meet all physical demands
- Experience using industrial hand tools and power tools
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work 7 days as needed
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
- Good problem-solving abilities
- Good aptitude and manual dexterity
- Good reading comprehension
- Team player with good communication skills
- Commitment to Zachry values and safety rules and regulations
Physical Requirements
- Standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting and lifting
- Talking and hearing to communicate
- Picking up, lifting, carrying and moving up to 50lbs
- Working at heights, climbing ladders and stairways, and working off of platforms/scaffolding
- Working in all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind)
- Wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
