JVIC - QA/QC Inspector

About the role

The Quality Completions Inspector conducts systems completion walk‑downs and supports Completions on punch‑list items, walk‑downs, and engineering changes. This skilled position requires detailed knowledge of specific crafts and job specifications, and works closely with QC, document control, and the craft to ensure field installations match drawings and specifications.

Job Functions

• Walk down systems and subsystems for completeness and identify any discrepancies.
• Identify any field‑installed versus drawing differences.
• Verify completed punch‑list items.
• Participate in client and commissioning walk‑downs.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience as a journeyman.
• 3 years industrial construction experience.
• 2–3 years experience in petrochemical or oil & gas.
• Computer competency (Microsoft Office) and experience with a completions database.
• General discipline competencies with civil, underground work, structural, and building projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a construction‑ or technology‑related field.
• Prior turnover experience.
• Prior commissioning experience.
