JV Volleyball Head Coach

Season

• August 24 – November 9
• Required hours: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
• Middle school involvement (Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM) is encouraged but not required

Responsibilities

• Serve as Head Girls JV Volleyball Coach for the Upper School
• Effectively plan and organize both practice and competition calendars in conjunction with the Athletic Director and staff
• Create an inclusive, exciting, and challenging environment each day
• Collaborate with assistant coaches in planning and communication
• Maintain a safe environment at all times
• Communicate with athletes, parents, coaches, and opponents in a professional manner

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of successful high school girls head or assistant coaching experience
• A passion for athletic competition and the ability to motivate and inspire athletes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to building a diverse, equitable, and inclusive school community
• Energetic, enthusiastic, flexible, and patient
