Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, youth, and other authorized individuals while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies at a government juvenile services location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, maintain visitor logs, and issue or collect access credentials in accordance with established procedures.
• Control access to restricted areas, screen visitors and deliveries as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns to appropriate site personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
