Responsibilities

• Lead cartel law proceedings concerning cartels, abuses of dominant positions, and corporate mergers
• Perform legal analyses and draft decision proposals for the Competition Commission (COMCO)
• Write demanding legal texts, primarily in German (including decisions and draft decisions)
• Execute investigative measures (hearings, research, questionnaires, searches)
• Draft briefs for appeal proceedings before the Federal Administrative Court and the Federal Supreme Court

Requirements

• Law degree (licentiate, master) and bar exam or doctoral thesis in competition law
• In-depth knowledge of economic administrative law and economic criminal law, including procedural law
• Initial professional experience with a judicial authority, law firm, or as an in-house counsel is an asset
• Familiarity with the normative framework of the Cartel Act
• Strong writing, negotiation, and argumentation skills; ability to assert and convince
• Sense of responsibility, rigor, good communication, and team spirit
• Active proficiency in two official Swiss languages; good knowledge of English
