Responsibilities
- Lead cartel law proceedings concerning cartels, abuses of dominant positions, and corporate mergers
- Perform legal analyses and draft decision proposals for the Competition Commission (COMCO)
- Write demanding legal texts, primarily in German (including decisions and draft decisions)
- Execute investigative measures (hearings, research, questionnaires, searches)
- Draft briefs for appeal proceedings before the Federal Administrative Court and the Federal Supreme Court
Requirements
- Law degree (licentiate, master) and bar exam or doctoral thesis in competition law
- In-depth knowledge of economic administrative law and economic criminal law, including procedural law
- Initial professional experience with a judicial authority, law firm, or as an in-house counsel is an asset
- Familiarity with the normative framework of the Cartel Act
- Strong writing, negotiation, and argumentation skills; ability to assert and convince
- Sense of responsibility, rigor, good communication, and team spirit
- Active proficiency in two official Swiss languages; good knowledge of English
