Junk Removal Crew Member - The Junkluggers Elgin, IL $18–$22 / hour+

About the role

The Junkluggers of Chicago NW Suburbs is a locally owned junk removal company dedicated to donating usable items to local charities and recycling as much as possible. We are currently seeking reliable, hardworking individuals to join our crew.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a 2–3 person crew completing junk removal jobs at homes and businesses across the Chicago NW Suburbs
• Load furniture, appliances, and debris safely and efficiently
• Interact with customers professionally
• Sort items on-site for donation, recycling, or disposal
• Drive or ride in company vehicles to job sites
• Complete jobs on time and document work accurately

Requirements

• Able to lift 75+ lbs repeatedly throughout a shift
• Reliable — show up on time
• Customer-friendly — patience and a good attitude are important
• Valid driver's license preferred (not required for all positions)
• Previous moving, labor, landscaping, or warehouse experience is a bonus
