About the role
The Junkluggers of Chicago NW Suburbs is a locally owned junk removal company dedicated to making a positive impact in the community by donating usable items and recycling as much as possible.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a 2–3 person crew completing junk removal jobs at homes and businesses across the Chicago NW Suburbs
- Load furniture, appliances, and debris safely and efficiently
- Interact with customers professionally
- Sort items on-site for donation, recycling, or disposal
- Drive or ride in company vehicles to job sites
- Complete jobs on time and document work accurately
Requirements
- Able to lift 75+ lbs repeatedly throughout a shift
- Reliable — show up on time
- Customer-friendly — have a good attitude
- Valid driver's license preferred (not required for all positions)
- Previous moving, labor, landscaping, or warehouse experience is a bonus
