Junior Specialist Position - Ash Lab

About the role

The Ash Lab in the Department of Psychiatry at UCSF is currently seeking a Junior Specialist position. This is an entry-level position to perform neuroscience research experiments, including EEG experiments, analyze data, write manuscripts, review scientific literature, present results, and contribute intellectually to the lab.

Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree (or equivalent degree) or at least four years of research experience
• Biology and neuroscience knowledge base
• Skills with electrophysiology
• Proficient in MATLAB or Python programming language
• Experience with human electrophysiology techniques

Qualifications

• Curriculum Vitae - CV must clearly list current and/or pending qualifications (e.g. board eligibility/certification, medical licensure, etc.)

Benefits

• Salary range: $55,000 - $58,600
