Roles And Responsibilities

• Recommending best solutions to automate existing and new functionality based on ServiceNow offered applications and modules.
• Activation and configuration of ServiceNow applications to meet business needs.
• Development of workflows and scripts to personalize existing ServiceNow applications.
• Development of ServiceNow custom applications from inception to completion to automate and improve processes.
• Working closely with customers to research, design, develop and deliver innovative solutions to improve their business processes.
• Aiding in the identification of best practices for development of new and existing ServiceNow applications.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to software applications, systems integration, and multiple platforms.
• Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards.
• Evaluating interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system.
• Documenting testing and maintenance of system corrections.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• One year of software development experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification.
• Experience with development of ServiceNow workflows, client, and server-side scripting.
• Experience with ServiceNow modules to include but not limited to IT Service Management, HR Service Delivery, IT Financial Management, IT Business Management, Software Asset Management.
• Web service and database experience is a plus.

About The Role

The Junior ServiceNow Developer contributes to the success of providing IT development services to the NSSC and NASA. The role involves automating processes, developing custom applications, and assisting customers in improving their business processes.

Pay

The likely salary range for this position is $72,877 - $98,599. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
