Junior ServiceNow Developer – AI-Assisted Development
CGI is seeking a Junior ServiceNow Developer to support technology initiatives within a financial services environment. This role is located at a client site in Knoxville, Tennessee in a hybrid environment.
About the role
Focus on designing, developing, configuring, and maintaining ServiceNow applications and workflows, with an emphasis on using AI-assisted development tools to improve delivery speed, code quality, and automation. The ideal candidate will work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and platform owners to enhance ServiceNow capabilities, support integrations, and contribute to scalable solutions in an AWS-heavy enterprise environment.
This role requires strong hands-on ServiceNow development experience, comfort working in regulated environments, and the ability to translate business needs into reliable technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications, modules, workflows, forms, and business rules
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, testing, documentation, or troubleshooting
- Support ServiceNow integrations with enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, or similar tools
- Enhance ServiceNow capabilities and contribute to scalable solutions in an AWS-heavy enterprise environment
- Collaborate with business users, architects, QA teams, and DevOps teams to deliver maintainable platform solutions
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex workflow or integration issues
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Requirements
- 2 years of hands-on experience developing and configuring ServiceNow applications, modules, workflows, forms, and business rules
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow scripting, including JavaScript, Glide APIs, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Flow Designer
- Experience supporting ServiceNow integrations with enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, or similar tools
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools
- Working knowledge of ITSM processes such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Service Catalog
- Experience in cloud-based environments, preferably AWS-heavy enterprise ecosystems
- Ability to work in a financial services or other highly regulated environment with strong attention to security, auditability, and compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Current ServiceNow Developer Certification preferred
- Knowledge of ITSM, ITIL, and CMDB is expected (ITIL certification not required)
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Good communication skills
Pay
A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $58,000.00 to $89,600.00.
