About the role
EarthCam is seeking a Junior Recruiter to support the early stages of hiring, primarily for entry-level positions. This role focuses on sourcing candidates, conducting initial phone screens, maintaining candidate pipelines, coordinating interviews, and submitting qualified candidates for recruiter review. The Junior Recruiter will work under close guidance from experienced recruiters and Talent Acquisition Management while developing the skills needed to manage recruiting responsibilities more independently.
Responsibilities
- Conduct structured initial phone screens for entry-level roles
- Source candidates for assigned entry-level positions
- Maintain active candidate pipelines aligned with hiring needs
- Submit qualified candidates for second-round recruiter review
- Coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring teams
- Maintain ATS accuracy and documentation quality
- Support recruiting coverage across multiple requisitions
- Complete approximately 25 initial phone screens daily, depending on the role
- Submit approximately three to five qualified candidates daily for recruiter review
- Maintain candidate pipeline continuity and low candidate drop-off rates
- Support special recruiting projects as assigned
Requirements
- Organized, proactive, and responsive
- A strong communicator with professional follow-up skills
- Comfortable speaking with candidates by phone throughout the day
- Able to support multiple open requisitions simultaneously
- Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining accurate documentation
- Comfortable receiving coaching, feedback, and close guidance
- Able to manage sourcing pipelines for assigned entry-level roles
- Consistent in candidate screening and evaluation quality
- Motivated to develop the ability to screen mid-level candidates with limited oversight
Qualifications
- One or more years of recruiting, staffing, sourcing, or talent acquisition support experience preferred
- Experience sourcing candidates and conducting initial phone screens
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruiting workflows
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
