About the role
Vernovis is partnering with a growing Cincinnati-area organization seeking a Junior Project Manager to support enterprise initiatives focused on Workday and other ERP-driven projects. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented project professional who enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing timelines, and driving projects to successful completion.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage project activities, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications across multiple initiatives.
- Support Workday and ERP-related projects by tracking milestones, documenting requirements, and monitoring project progress.
- Facilitate project meetings, prepare agendas, document action items, and ensure follow-up on key deliverables.
- Partner with business leaders, IT teams, and third-party vendors to ensure projects remain on schedule and aligned with organizational objectives.
- Identify project risks, roadblocks, and dependencies while proactively communicating solutions and recommendations.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, status reports, and executive updates.
- Assist with process improvement efforts and enterprise system enhancement initiatives.
- Ensure project activities adhere to established timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Project Coordination, Project Management, or a related role.
- Hands-on experience with Workday, or equivalent ERP platforms such as Oracle, SAP, SuccessFactors, UKG, or similar enterprise systems.
- Experience managing project schedules, documentation, stakeholder communications, and cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting Workday implementations, upgrades, or optimization projects.
- Exposure to project management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or Azure DevOps.
- CAPM, PMP, Scrum, or other project management certification.
