Junior Project Manager – Manufacturing

Location: Marietta, OH • Full-Time, Direct Hire

About the role

We are looking for an organized Junior Project Manager to coordinate high-volume configure-to-order (CTO) and quick-ship manufacturing orders. This position follows projects from order entry through shipment while working closely with production, supply chain, engineering, quality, and logistics teams.

Power distribution industry experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate CTO and quick-ship orders through completion and shipment
• Review sales orders for accuracy, configuration, and required information
• Monitor material availability, production, testing, and shipping milestones
• Keep order and project information current in ERP and project management systems
• Communicate regularly with production, supply chain, quality, and shipping teams
• Provide order status updates and communicate schedule changes
• Identify orders at risk and escalate issues that could affect delivery
• Assist with shipping coordination, documentation, logistics, and customer-specific requirements
• Prepare internal and customer-facing project status reports
• Help improve order tracking and scheduling processes

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in project coordination, order management, customer service, inside sales support, or operations within a manufacturing environment
• Experience working with ERP systems and project tracking software
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and follow-through

Qualifications

• Power distribution industry experience is required
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred

Preferred Experience

• Electrical, industrial, or electromechanical manufacturing
• Configure-to-order (CTO) or make-to-order manufacturing
• Power distribution products or industrial equipment
• Shipping and logistics coordination for manufactured products
• CAPM certification or interest in pursuing a project management certification

Pay

Starting salary: $60,000/year, with compensation based on experience
