Junior Product Specialist

Responsibilities

• Aid other members of the product line in researching and developing materials and tools to ensure sales success across multiple industries.
• Curate and organize product research and data collection for multi-media formats to train and inform fellow employees of new products and new product developments.
• Participate in the audit of products, both internal and external.
• Attend industry-specific trade shows to gather new product information and support sales staff with technical knowledge.
• Monitor the automotive market and assist in developing competitive analyses.
• Support the development and launch of new products and services through a multi-channel market strategy.
• Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and market challenges.
• Work closely with the marketing teams to provide information and images for new marketing materials.
• Support in the research for product information, ADA standards, and FMVSS requirements that are thoroughly met in any company materials that advertise products.
• Provide technical product information for all channels, both internal and external, including print, email, digital, and internal documentation.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Some experience in engineering, research, or a similar role within the Automotive industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field or industry experience.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing, vehicle upfitting, automotive mechanical systems, the automotive industry, and technology.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and creating content.
• Able to interpret data into useful information for the company’s benefit.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Creative thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and technological advancements in a fast-paced work environment.
