Junior Performance Analyst / Operations

About the role
The Junior Performance Analyst will be responsible for performance measurements and reporting on all client portfolios managed by BNPP Asset Management US. Individual portfolio performance calculation will be produced for review and sign-off by the Portfolio Managers.
Responsibilities
- Generate and report performance results to senior management.
- Work with custodians, trustees, and portfolio managers to resolve all market value differences to within 20 basis points of the net asset value of the portfolio.
- Validate mandate accounting and performance on a monthly basis.
- Produce and analyze market value reconciliations as required.
- Review and resolve outstanding account discrepancies.
- Prepare standard and customized reports for third parties, as required.
- Review and oversee adjustments and corrections to the accounting system as appropriate.
- Special projects as required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience within Fixed Income Operations or Middle Office.
- Excellent working knowledge of fixed income securities, foreign exchange, and fixed income derivatives.
- Advanced computer skills (particularly in Excel and Visual Basic).
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Excellent academic credentials.

Pay
The expected starting salary range for this position in New York City is between $75,000 to $85,000 annually. Actual salary may vary based on relevant skills, experience, internal peer benchmarks, prior performance, business line, and geographic location.
Schedule
This role has the flexibility of being hybrid, consisting of both in-office and remote working components. Physical presence in BNPP AM’s office(s) is an essential function of this position.
