Junior Liability Attorney IN HOUSE

About the role

A large, established global services company is seeking two in-house litigation attorneys. Both are newly created positions. The company has placed two attorneys in the group that have been with the company for 1.5 years+. This is a great opportunity for a junior litigation attorney with practice area experience, who wants to transition to better work-life balance in an in-house environment.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and evaluate general liability claims to determine coverage, liability exposure, and damages.
• Provide in-depth legal analysis and recommendations regarding claim resolution strategies.
• Manage and oversee outside counsel handling litigated claims.

Requirements

• Practice area experience in liability defense (insurance, claims, slip and fall, etc.).
• Licensed in California.

Pay

$140,000 - $165,000 (DOE) + bonus + benefits

Qualifications

Qualified candidates should have experience in liability defense (insurance, claims, slip and fall, etc.), be licensed in California, and be open to a hybrid schedule.
