About This Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior IT Support Specialist to join our growing IT team. The candidate will provide reliable day-to-day technical support to our staff while developing the skills and knowledge needed to grow into more advanced IT and infrastructure roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Manage user accounts in Active Directory and Entra ID, including onboarding, offboarding, and password resets.
- Support Microsoft 365 apps such as Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Prepare and deploy workstations, maintain asset records, and assist with basic security tasks like MFA and compliance checks.
- Escalate complex issues with clear documentation and help improve internal support resources and processes.
Location and Schedule
This is a full-time, office-based position in a modern, cozy environment in our Fort Lauderdale HQ. Our standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance.
Skills & Qualifications
- Required Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Entra ID.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Clear communication skills and ability to support non-technical users professionally.
- High school diploma required; additional IT training, coursework, or a related degree preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, VPN, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
- Experience with device imaging, deployment, or hardware setup.
- Basic knowledge of information security principles and willingness to assist with routine security-related tasks.
- CompTIA A+ or similar entry-level IT certification preferred.
