About the Opportunity
The Junior IT Support Engineer role is designed to deliver timely and reliable technical support to employees across a diverse global organization. The position supports essential IT processes such as onboarding, device provisioning, access management, and asset tracking. This role is critical for maintaining smooth technology operations and contributes directly to employee productivity and security.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, identity, network, and cloud application issues
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including device setup and account provisioning
- Configure, deploy, track, and maintain IT equipment
- Administer core workplace systems including Google Workspace and device-management tools
- Support identity and access management, including SSO, MFA, endpoint security, and SaaS applications
- Troubleshoot across macOS and Windows environments, with Linux support opportunities
- Maintain asset inventory, access records, and internal IT documentation
- Escalate complex technical or security issues to senior team members
- Assist with access reviews, compliance activities, and security best practices
- Identify process improvement and automation opportunities
- Collaborate with departments such as People, Security, Legal, Finance, and Engineering
- Participate in testing emerging technologies, including AI productivity tools and automation
Requirements
- Early-career experience in IT support, help desk, systems administration, or related roles
- Knowledge of macOS and Windows devices, hardware, software, networking, and cloud applications
- Familiarity with Google Workspace and device-management platforms like Iru, Kandji, or Jamf
- Basic understanding of identity and access management, SSO, MFA, endpoint security, and SaaS administration
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Customer-focused and service-oriented mindset
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Security-conscious with sound judgment handling sensitive information
- Interest in generative AI, automation, and emerging technologies
Pay and Compensation
The annual salary range for this role is $75,000–$103,000, plus equity and benefits. The final offer will depend on experience, skills, and the level at which the candidate is hired.
