About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Junior IT Networking Professional to join our team and support day-to-day technology operations. This role involves setting up and maintaining computers, managing network configurations, and providing technical support for Microsoft-based systems and applications.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop computers for new and existing users
• Troubleshoot internet connectivity and application-related issues
• Provide first-level support for Windows-based systems and Microsoft applications
• Maintain and update IT documentation as needed
• Aid in the maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and access points
• Install and update software, apply patches, and perform routine system maintenance
• Support users via in-person, phone, or remote assistance

Qualifications

• Basic Minimum Education Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science preferred
• Optional: CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is a plus
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in an IT support or networking role (or equivalent education)
• Familiarity with basic networking concepts (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and connectivity issues
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Additional Information

The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, with additional hours as needed. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Norwood, MA are encouraged to apply.
