Responsibilities

  • Investigate non-immigrant visa holders who violate their immigration status.
  • Scrutinize the activities of known or suspected terrorists and terrorist associations.
  • Combat the criminal exploitation of the student visa system.
  • Build reports (leads) to determine the legal status of visitors and students who entered the country on a specific visa.
  • Research over 20 government and open source (OSINT) databases to determine status violations and lead viability.
  • Transfer information gathered into a template and deem subjects viable or non-viable.
  • Support field agents in conducting “knock and talk” operations or arrests.

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum Education/Experience: Bachelor of Arts or Science degree and 1 year of experience in research, intelligence, or threat analysis, or an Associate's Degree and 3 years' experience in intelligence and threat analysis, or a High School diploma with 5 years' experience in intelligence and threat analysis.
  • Preferred Education/Experience: 1+ year of directly related research/intel experience, knowledge of immigration policy and procedures, and familiarity with DHS ADP systems.
  • Must be a strong team player, quick learner, proactive, and produce accurate work.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Must maintain a TS security clearance with eligibility for SCI.

Pay

The likely salary range for this position is $55,003 - $74,415. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Schedule

M-F in office, 8-hour shift within 6 AM to 5 PM, dependent on final team appointment once employee completes unit training.

About the Role

GDIT is seeking a Junior Intelligence Analyst to join our team. The Intelligence Analyst Associate investigates non-immigrant visa holders who violate their immigration status, scrutinizes the activities of known or suspected terrorists and terrorist associations, and combats the criminal exploitation of the student visa system. This role supports the mission-critical support contract that provides investigative analytical support, data entry, law enforcement database research, communications guidance, and technical support services. Daily responsibilities include researching over 20 government and open source (OSINT) databases to determine status violations and lead viability, transferring information gathered into a template, and supporting field agents in conducting “knock and talk” operations or arrests.
