• Responsibilities:
• Leverage your experience with Power BI, ERP systems, and other relevant technologies to provide comprehensive data support and drive business decisions.
• Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports to management, providing insights and recommendations based on your findings.
• Develop and maintain a reporting calendar to ensure timely delivery of all financial reports.
• Create SharePoint folders to organize and streamline data management processes.
• Load raw data into our systems, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
• Perform validation checks on all data, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
• Collaborate with various teams to understand their financial needs and provide appropriate support.
• Aid in the forecasting process, using your analytical skills to predict financial trends and outcomes.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
• Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance/business analyst role, preferably in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in Power BI, ERP systems, and other relevant technologies.
• Strong understanding of business analytics, forecasting, and reporting preparation.
• Experience in data support and validation checks.
• Excellent analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage a reporting calendar and create SharePoint folders for data management.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

A bit about us: We are seeking a Junior Finance / Business Analyst to join our team on a temp-to-hire basis at an aviation company. This role is designed to provide essential support to the finance and business analytics team by focusing on data gathering, reporting preparation, coordination, and basic quality checks. The primary responsibility is to support senior analysts by ensuring data is organized, accurate, and ready for use in reporting and decision-making processes. This allows the senior team to focus on more advanced forecasting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives.

Job Details

Salary: $27 - $33 per hour
