The Applied Solutions Organization is the project realization Center of Competence serving North and South America, delivering turnkey systems globally alongside sister operations in Germany and Singapore.

The Systems Solutions business is experiencing rapid growth. We are looking for recent college graduates to enable this expansion, help shape future offerings, and transform delivery methods. Responsibilities

  • Pre-Sales – understand customer application needs and test plan requirements to scope preliminary designs, develop customer quotes, and produce technical proposals
  • Systems Design & Test – develop complete design packages and documentation for production handover and systems testing within our Texas facility
  • Systems Installation & Training – supervise and perform onsite systems installation, integration, acceptance testing, and training at customer facilities across North America
  • Systems Support – provide third-level technical support to customers who have purchased R&S Systems
  • Customer Satisfaction – ensure timely resolution of design, production, implementation, and support issues by managing escalations and coordinating local and remote resources
  • Process Improvement – develop standardized design concepts and best practices for project execution

Requirements

  • Graduating or recent BSEE with GPA > 3.0
  • Desire to build expertise in RF test systems design and operation, including instrumentation, switching, high-power amplifiers, antennas, anechoic chambers, and measurement system software
  • System design understanding of core RF fundamentals: VSWR, insertion loss, signal modulation formats, system sensitivity, noise figure, and power/field strength calculations
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer interface skills
  • Deep problem-solving and analytical capabilities
  • Ability to work well with multiple personality styles in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Maintain a calm and professional demeanor while managing multiple competing priorities
  • Ability to travel extensively within the US with occasional international travel
  • Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs.
  • Must reside in the US and have US citizenship (customer requirement)

Pay

The total compensation for this position is $90,000–$115,000. This includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable), and benefits. Individual pay within the range is determined by factors such as location, education, relevant work history, sales incentive structure, and job-related skills.
