Junior Designer - Internship

Requirements

• Enrolled in an NCARB, CIDA, or NAAB accredited Architecture, Interior Architecture, Interior Design or other design-related program
• Currently enrolled in the third year of a bachelor's program or higher

Skills

• Fundamental knowledge of space planning, design methods, construction documentation, detailing, materials and aesthetics
• Fundamental Revit/3D Design & CAD skills
• Intermediate Adobe Suite skills
• Intermediate hand-sketching & rendering skills
• Enscape experience encouraged
• Familiarity with Autodesk Bim360 and Bluebeam Studio construction management software encouraged
• Self-starter, driven, highly collaborative, and eager to learn

Responsibilities

• Work under the direct supervision of peers and senior-level staff as an entry-level Junior Designer
• Modify drawings to incorporate design and technical changes
• Create or modify presentation documents
• Select finishes and produce finish palettes
• Assist with scheduling vendor presentations and library filing and organization
• Assist with site verifications, field surveys, or punch walks

Pay

Estimated between $21 - $25 per hour based upon year in school and previous experience.
