Junior Designer

About the role

We're seeking a Junior Designer who can bring their creative vision to life across various channels. This role offers opportunities to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to both individual projects and larger campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with writers, art directors, strategists, brand leads, and the video team to ideate and execute design projects.
• Create high-quality visuals across digital, print, social, and motion media, adhering to brand guidelines.
• Develop and evolve brand assets such as logos, style guides, and visual systems, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
• Resize and adapt designs for different platforms and formats, from web to mobile and print.
• Use AI tools for content creation, pre-visualization, workflow management, and post-production.
• Contribute to concepting and idea generation in team settings.
• Present work clearly and confidently, incorporating feedback to continuously improve.

Requirements

• Ability to commute to our Boston office 2x/week (Tuesday and Wednesday).
• 2 years of experience (internships count) in an agency or design environment.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign (required); After Effects and motion skills (plus).
• Strong foundation in design principles and a proactive interest in emerging technology.
• Proactive use of Generative AI tools such as Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Nano, Flux, Freepik Runway, Figma, etc.
• A strong attention to detail, organization, and file prep for production.
• Experience resizing and adapting designs across web, mobile, and print formats.
• A solid foundation in typography, layout, photography, and design principles.
• An interest in concepting and contributing ideas in team settings.
• Comfort presenting work clearly and confidently.

Only those who can commute to our Boston office and provide an online portfolio will be considered. Please note that all employees are required to be in-office at our CTP location on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The salary range for these roles is $45,000 – $60,000 annually. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, skills, internal equity, and market data.
