Key Accountabilities Operations & MonitoringPerform routine monitoring of data center systems including power, cooling, and environmental conditionsConduct scheduled facility walkthroughs and inspections, documenting findings and escalating abnormalitiesMonitor alarms and alerts through BMS, EPMS, and DCIM platformsAssist with shift handovers and operational logsElectrical & Mechanical SupportSupport basic electrical and mechanical tasks under supervisionAssist with UPS, generator, ATS/STS, and HVAC monitoringSupport IT equipment racking and cabling activitiesMaintenance & Work ExecutionAssist senior technicians with preventive and corrective maintenanceFollow approved MOPs, SOPs, and EOPsManage work orders in CMMS systemsSafety & ComplianceFollow LOTO, PPE, and electrical safety proceduresParticipate in safety training and incident reviewsDocumentation & CommunicationMaintain accurate logs and inspection recordsEscalate issues following site protocolsLearning & DevelopmentParticipate in training and qualification programsDevelop understanding of redundancy and risk management Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalentBasic understanding of electrical or mechanical systemsStrong attention to detail and willingness to learnBasic computer skills Preferred Qualifications Associate degree in technical fieldEntry-level experience in data center or critical facilitiesFamiliarity with UPS, generators, HVAC, or structured cabling Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to work shifts, nights, weekends, and holidaysComfortable working in mission-critical environments Core Cempetencies Safety-first mindsetReliability and accountabilityTeam-oriented with strong communication skillsCuriosity and continuous improvement mindset Serverfarm is committed to providing an equal opportunity workplace and offers paid time off, paid holidays, 401k and FULL coverage medical, dental and vision.
