Junior Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Code and validate large datasets for analytic reporting.
• Explore and profile data sources.
• Maintain data documentation and definitions.
• Provide clean, transformed data ready for analysis.
• Support critical BI dashboards with actionable data.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
• Required: 1-2 years of experience in SQL.
• Required: Strong understanding of relational database and data warehousing concepts (e.g., OLAP, dimensional modeling).
• Required: Experience with code versioning tools (GitHub).
• Required: Expert skills with SQL and basic statistics.
• Required: Intermediate expertise in Python programming.
• Required: Strong problem solving and structuring skills.
• Required: Ability and desire to take ownership of and initiative for analysis, from requirements clarification to deliverables.
• Required: Ability to work both independently and in a team environment effectively.
• Required: Strong technical communication skills: both written and verbal.
• Required: Attention to detail.
• Required: Ability to identify and learn applicable new techniques independently as needed.

Required: Candidate must reside in the United States.

Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary.
